Welcome to Rose Hack 2023!

Rose Hack 2023 is UCR's women-centric hackathon where students from all backgrounds are celebrated. Hundreds of participants form teams and build a project over the event's 24 hour duration. 

Rose Hack is beginner friendly and welcomes all participants to learn, develop, and hone their skills. Have you ever wanted to learn how to build something, but didn't know where to start? We will provide everything you need from swag, mentoring, and a diverse range of workshops to help you level up your hacking experience.

Requirements

Please refer to the MLH Code of Conduct for our rules. Attendees found breaking these rules may be subject to dismissal from the event.

Everyone on your team must have been accepted in order to be eligible for prizes.

Work on a project must start no earlier than 12:00 pm PDT Saturday, January 14th.

Work on a project must end at 12:00 pm PDT on Sunday, January 15th.

Projects from past hackathons/projects cannot be reused. 

 

Please comply with all instructions from Rose Hack organizers.

Rose Hack reserves the right to disqualify any projects that do not follow competition rules.

    Register a .tech domain name using Domain.com during the weekend. Each team may submit one entry per person on the team.
  • Best Accessibility Hack
    The project must have any aspect of accessibility as the primary theme for the hackathon project.
